Overview

Courier/DOT-1 role at Federal Express Corporation. Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance due to customer contact.
• Must meet qualifications per 391 of FMCSA; medical exam required per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and respond to inquiries and directions per FMCSA enforcement guidance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old and have a clean driving history.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay: $25.42-$35.25 per hour.
• Full-time M-F, 7am-4pm. Pay $25.42/hour.
• Health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
