Responsibilities
- Driver/operator of company vehicles.
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages.
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provide related customer service functions.
- Drive vehicles not regulated by 39 CFR 391 of the FMCSA.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule
Full‑time (FT) Mon–Fri; approximate shift: M 08:30–17:00; Tue–Fri 09:15–17:15.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum Experience: None.
- Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and communication skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Job Conditions
Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Mondays 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Tuesdays through Fridays 9:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Pay and Benefits
- Pay Transparency: The compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If multiple job levels exist, the salary information represents the minimum and maximum range for all levels in this job family; actual starting pay is determined by experience, market level, location, and other factors permitted by law.
- Pay: Current Hourly Rate $25.42; Pay Range $25.42–$35.25.
