Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Key West, Florida.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Hourly Pay: $18.97 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs; ability to stand for long periods
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors; flexible schedule and various shifts
• Must have a clean driving record, a personal vehicle, and be able to travel within the area approximately 25 - 50% of the day
