A well-established property management group in the Greater Kissimmee area is experiencing growth and is seeking an experienced Accountant with direct HOA accounting experience.

This is a full-time, onsite position (Monday through Friday) offering a competitive salary in the mid-$50,000s to mid-$60,000s, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% employer-paid medical coverage.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and related reporting for a portfolio of communities.
• Managing full-cycle AP/AR functions, including invoicing, reconciliations, and collections oversight.
• Supporting revenue reporting, accruals, and prepaids.
• Partnering with community leaders to ensure accurate, timely financials and provide responsive accounting support.
• Meeting month-end deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborating with colleagues to streamline accounting processes and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Taking on additional accounting responsibilities as the portfolio grows.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of direct HOA/community association accounting experience (required).
• Strong knowledge of accrual-based accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (balance sheets, reconciliations, accruals).
• Prior experience managing AP and AR in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to independently manage a portfolio while collaborating in a close-knit team.
• HOA accounting software experience is a must
• Standard background check required and contingent upon the company’s pre-employment screening policies

Reporting Structure & Culture:

This position reports directly to a highly experienced accounting leader who provides hands-on training and support. The organization is known for its close-knit, collaborative culture, strong leadership, and commitment to investing in employee growth and development.

Work Setup:

• On-site, Monday through Friday (no remote option).
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 depending on experience.
