Our client in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a collaborative, growing organization where personality, drive, and adaptability are just as important as technical skills.

What You’ll Do

• Rotate through key functions (cash receipts, AR, AP, compliance, and sales-use tax) to provide coverage and build well-rounded skills.
• Support financial reporting and month-end close in partnership with the Finance Manager, Sales Analyst, Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, and Data Manager.
• Work within Epicor (ERP system) — prior ERP experience is preferred
• Assist in preparing reconciliations, journal entries, and compliance reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (finance, data, IT, HR) to ensure accuracy and efficiency in reporting and processes.
• Contribute to process improvement as the company continues to scale.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting required; Master’s in Accounting (MSA) preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, though strong new graduates will also be considered.
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred).
• Excellent communication skills — able to collaborate, adapt, and bring a positive energy to the team.
