We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented IT Site Support Technician to provide comprehensive on-site technical support for desktop hardware, software, and network systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Description: This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of production and office IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site desktop support for all hardware across the manufacturing plant, including production lines and office areas.
  • Set up, configure, install, and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, and mobile RF devices.
  • Provide technical assistance for computers, phones, printers, and industrial printing equipment.
  • Perform break/fix support for network infrastructure, servers, and end-user devices.
  • Support and maintain Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
  • Implement and manage network servers and Active Directory accounts.
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues, including routers and switches.
  • Re-image computers as needed to maintain system integrity and performance.
  • Track and manage hardware inventory and coordinate e-waste disposal.
  • Reset wireless access points, including climbing ladders and accessing elevated areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support IT operations.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and make timely decisions.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing critical tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with desktop support, PC installation, and computer hardware.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and mobile RF device support.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (routers, switches, access points).

Physical Requirements:

  • Regular use of personal computer equipment.
  • Occasional stooping, crawling, and lifting of up to 50 lbs. for hardware installation and maintenance.
  • Ability to climb ladders (up to 25 feet) to access wireless access points and elevated workspaces.
  • Navigate catwalks and mezzanines while carrying equipment, including ducking under wires and HVAC systems.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must complete ladder safety training.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying physical demands.
  • Willingness to respond to urgent technical issues during production hours.

Pay And Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
