CVOR RN | November Start - Palo Alto

Start Date: November 2025 | 26-Week Contract

We're seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a travel assignment at a leading hospital in Palo Alto, California. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing surgical team in a cardiovascular operating room setting.

Position Highlights

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Setting: Hospital - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Start Window: November 2025

Contract Length: 26 weeks, with potential for extension

Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week)

Shift: Rotating

Required Qualifications

Must be a traveler (permanent address 50+ miles from the facility)

CA RN License

5+ years of CVOR RN experience

3+ years accepted at a lower rate

Ability to scrub

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association)

Experience:

EPIC EMR proficiency

Previous travel RN experience

Additional Compliance Requirements

TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site

Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements

Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and clients; proficiency in English required

Computer proficiency required

What You'll Do:

Provide expert perioperative care in cardiovascular surgeries, assist with scrubbing procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team in a hospital-based CVOR.
