The Opportunity:
My client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical Plumbing Estimator to join their Philadelphia-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile commercial and institutional projects while enjoying industry-leading compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for plumbing systems using Quick Pen software.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documentation to determine scope and pricing.
- Perform material and labor take-offs and develop detailed bid proposals.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Stay current with market trends, pricing, and construction methods.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical/plumbing estimating.
- Proficiency with Quick Pen is required .
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and construction practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
