We are seeking a Global Customer Analytics Director to drive customer insights that shape strategy and key decisions for the obesity pipeline. The successful candidate will lead a team that generates insights by integrating a myriad of sources, including internal knowledge, strategic secondary analytics, and primary market research. They will be a collaborative business partner, aligning business questions with impactful insight generation approaches and influencing customer perspectives on franchise/product strategy, brand building, and decisions for internal governance. Responsibilities: Lead teams integrating insights from various sources to address business needs Lead ad hoc strategic secondary analytics to inform strategic decisions Clearly communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional partners Partner with commercial leadership to define and prioritize objectives, budget, and work plans Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with best-in-class vendors Manage and develop direct reports Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 4 years of market research, analytics, competitive intelligence, sales, and/or marketing operations experience Or Master's degree and 8 years of experience Or Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated exceptional business acumen, strategic thinking skills, and ability to influence key decisions Ability to extract, analyze, and consolidate data from various sources Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills Ability to work collaboratively in team-based environments Amgen offers a comprehensive employee benefits package, including a retirement and savings plan, group medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts.
