Force Development Logistics - Senior Analyst
Overview
The Senior Analyst will provide expert-level support to the Force Development Logistics (FDL) Division within the Directorate of Materiel (DOM), DCS G-8. This role requires deep operational experience in Army tactical formations and expertise in logistics portfolios including transportation, munitions, sustainment, and medical systems. The analyst will support Army modernization and equipping efforts through strategic analysis, planning, and coordination across Army and Joint stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct analysis and develop recommendations for logistics programs including Palletized Load System (PLS), MRAP vehicles, Close Combat Systems, Mobile Maintenance Systems, and field medical systems.
Support development of Strategic Portfolio Analysis Review (SPAR) and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) briefs.
Coordinate and synchronize working groups, Council of Colonels, Army Requirements Oversight Council (AROC), and other forums.
Provide subject matter expertise for Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Foreign Military Sales (FMS), divestiture, AAO/APO adjustments, and Presidential Drawdown activities.
Review and validate program documentation, develop information papers, and support senior leader briefings.
Maintain situational awareness of assigned programs and provide rapid response analysis and documentation.
Collaborate with stakeholders including ASA(ALT), AMC, FORSCOM, TRADOC, and Joint Staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Force Development or related logistics roles.
Demonstrated operational experience in Army tactical units.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with Army systems such as AE2S-M, cQUIP, FMSWeb, and ECOP.
Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred for certain portfolios.
Desirable Qualifications
Completion of Army training courses such as:

RQM 1010 / CLR 101: Introduction to JCIDS
RQM 1100 / RQM 110: Core Concepts for Requirements Management
RQM 3100 / RQM 310: Advanced Concepts and Skills
CLR 151: Analysis of Alternatives
CLR 250: Capabilities Based Assessments
CLR 252: Developing Performance Attributes
Experience supporting HQDA, MACOMs, or Army Service Component Commands.
Familiarity with PPBE, JCIDS, and DoDI 5000.2 processes.
