Build a thriving AI partner ecosystem by leveraging Microsoft’s products, platforms, and go-to-market capabilities to empower partners and accelerate their success. Lead 360° business planning for assigned AI partners, defining and driving joint success metrics across product integration, GTM activation, and joint sales initiatives. Collaborate across teams—AI products, business development, marketing, startups, and enterprise customers—to drive impact and learn from the broader organization. Business Leader
Build, maintain, and own trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite leaders of complex partners to align priorities and drive growth. Develop mutually beneficial partner plans across technical product integrations, joint GTM, and joint business growth. Execute regular partner reviews and quarterly business reviews to track plan execution, identify gaps, and agree on corrective actions. Partner Assessment and Qualification
Develop partner recruitment plans to recruit new partners or expand current partnerships to create a balanced portfolio and fill market opportunities. Influence partners to upsell Microsoft products and services. Understand the ecosystem, influencers, and potential big wins; leverage insights from the investing community. Performance And Impact
Define joint success KPIs and coordinate across Microsoft to provide better solutions and accelerate sales cycles for partners. Ensure results by resolving complex escalations and orchestrating timely internal responses. Partner Sales And Consumption
Design and refine offer and incentive structures for partners and contribute to GTM package development. Oversee planning, campaigns, offers, and incentives; coordinate resources and ensure launch excellence with sales readiness and GTM activities. Demonstrate understanding of GTM programs and lead complex campaigns, coaching the team as needed. Other

Required/minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or related field AND 8+ years’ experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in technology, or equivalent experience. 8+ years’ experience in cloud partnerships, SaaS, or product and technology integrations. Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Science, or STEM-related field AND 10+ years’ experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in technology, or equivalent experience. 1+ years’ experience in working with AI model companies or AI startups, or equivalent experience. Partner Development Manager IC5 – typical base pay range in the U.S. is USD $133,000–$222,700 per year. Specific locations (San Francisco Bay Area and NYC metro) have a higher range: USD $170,300–$239,800 per year. Some roles may be eligible for benefits and additional compensation.
