$6,031.00 - $7,929.00 Job Description And Duties Under the direction of a Caltrans Maintenance Manager I - Maintenance Support, the incumbent (Telecommunications Systems Analyst II) will provide coordination, advice and telecommunications engineering expertise necessary for the maintenance and future expansion of communications systems. Special Requirements Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a State owned or leased vehicle. Statement of Qualifications - Applicants must also submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). The SOQ is a discussion of how an applicant's education, training, experience, and skills meet the criteria in the duty statement and qualify the applicant for this position. Failure to include and complete the SOQ as instructed may not be considered and may result in disqualification for the interview. Resumes and cover letters will not take the place of the SOQ. The SOQ must follow the number format, must respond to the criteria below, must not exceed two pages in length, and be typed in size 11 Arial font. Describe your experience managing time and conflicting priorities while performing multiple functions. Describe your experience developing innovative solutions to improve two-way radio communication systems. Describe your experience communicating effectively with internal and external partners, staff, and management. Candidates selected for this position must successfully pass a Department of Justice background check and the incumbent is also required to sign CHP Form 101A annually.
