University partnerships and residency programs : Build and maintain strategic relationships with universities and DPT programs, oversee and expand our successful physical therapy residency programs that have become a cornerstone of our talent pipeline and retention strategy, including comprehensive onboarding and ongoing monitoring of intern and resident progress. Team leadership and development : Responsible for the direct supervision and professional growth of an HR Manager, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence People strategy:

Manage HR operational strategy with involvement in key employee interactions, offering executive oversight and guidance to support a consistent environment at all locations. Talent acquisition : Oversee full-cycle recruitment strategy with executive and operational team involvement, from developing talent acquisition processes and pipeline to personally engaging with candidates and ensuring exceptional onboarding experiences Organizational development : Design and implement comprehensive leadership training and development programs for interns and residents and establish career pathways through strategic planning and mentoring Performance management and compensation : Develop and oversee performance review processes, goal-setting frameworks, and manage compensation practices that drive results and employee satisfaction Culture and engagement : Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives, and team-building programs that reinforce our core values Benefits administration : Manage all aspects of employee benefits including health insurance, dental, vision, 401k plan, PTO tracking, and wellness programs with precision and care Compliance and documentation : Maintain thorough and accurate HR records, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement policies that protect both employees and the organization Qualifications

Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field preferred; Bachelor's degree required SHRM-CP or SCP, SPHR, or other senior HR certifications preferred 8-15 years of progressive HR leadership experience with demonstrated success in building and scaling HR functions, including organizational design, change management, and multi-location operations Senior-level experience recruiting fitness professionals, physical therapists, healthcare practitioners, and executive talent Strong experience in academic partnerships, university relations, or residency/internship program development is highly desirable Hospitality or customer service background preferred, with proven ability to make every interaction feel welcoming and supportive Proven experience in team leadership and mentoring HR professionals, with demonstrated success in developing and managing direct reports Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with discretion Ability and willingness to travel regularly to our various locations across Connecticut and Florida Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement EquaMagna - Mindful People Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
