Sr. Workday Integration Developer
who will design, develop, test, and maintain Workday integrations that support HR, Payroll, and Talent processes. This role will focus on building and supporting integrations with key external systems including Greenhouse (ATS), ADP (Payroll), and benefit providers, as well as internal business applications. The developer will partner closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable, and SOX-compliant integration solutions. What you’ll do
Integration Development & Support
Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and Cloud Connect. Develop and maintain integrations with Greenhouse ATS, ADP Payroll, and multiple benefit providers. Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes with minimal downtime. Document integration designs, workflows, and operational procedures for audit and knowledge sharing.
System Enhancements & Releases
Support Workday semi-annual releases by reviewing integration impacts, testing, and implementing updates. Collaborate with HRIS and IT peers on new system initiatives requiring integration solutions. Ensure integrations are scalable and aligned with long-term HR technology strategy.
Compliance & Data Governance
Ensure all integration changes follow SOX-compliant change management processes including documentation, testing, and approvals. Maintain data integrity and security across all connected systems. Partner with auditors to provide evidence of compliance as needed.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
Partner with HR and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers on integration specifications and issue resolution. Provide technical expertise to cross-functional projects involving Workday integrations.
What you need
Bachelor’s Degree
in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 7+ years of Workday integration experience , with hands-on expertise in
Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and EIBs . Strong experience integrating with
Greenhouse ATS, ADP Payroll, and benefit providers . Solid understanding of
Workday HCM data model
and business processes. Experience with
XSLT, XML, SOAP, REST, and API-based integrations Familiarity with
SOX compliance, data security, and change control processes . Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical partners. Workday Integration certification strongly preferred.
