As we continue to scale our operations, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Controller to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a financial professional to establish and lead the financial controls department from the ground up, building robust processes and procedures to support the company’s growth. Job Summary
The Controller will be a key member of the leadership team, overseeing all aspects of financial management, reporting, and controls. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and hands-on builder who is eager to shape and implement strong financial practices within a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
Design and implement financial policies, controls, and procedures to support scalable and compliant operations. Develop and implement ERP/finance systems tailored to the business needs. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and budgets. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations. Build, lead, and mentor the finance and accounting team. Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead annual budgeting processes, monthly forecasting, and variance analysis; provide management with insights into the company\'s financial performance and recommendations for improvement. Cost Analysis & Efficiency:
Develop costing methodologies specific to the manufacturing industry; work closely with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability; design and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Monitor risks and ensure the company has adequate financial insurance and safeguards. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA, CMA, or equivalent is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Demonstrated experience building or restructuring accounting and financial processes. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional leadership team. Preferred
Experience with ERP system implementation. Familiarity with cost accounting and inventory processes. What We Offer
