The team of Dr. Rhoda Au seeks a Research Applications Developer to support work on various grants. Develop data collection, processing and quality assurance pipelines for data, primarily digital data types, collected at the Framingham Heart Study, BU Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and other research sites. Work with digital data types including digital voice, imaging (brain MRIs, PET scans), digital pen, transcriptions, and data collected via mobile apps. Focus pipelines on processing and preparing data for analyses that identify risk factors in cognitive aging and dementia. Demonstrate advanced programming skills (preferably in

Python ,

R , or

SQL ), attention to data provenance, and familiarity with version-control systems. Script for file and text manipulation as required for standard data management requests. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of related experience. Proficiency in scripting and data management tasks related to data pipelines; familiarity with data provenance and version-control systems. Strong programming skills in Python, R, or SQL. Equal Opportunity
