This role encompasses the drafting and negotiation of critical agreements, including research collaborations, clinical study contracts, and intellectual property transactions, while delivering expert guidance on patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets. Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and research teams, the Legal Officer ensures all contractual arrangements comply with applicable federal and state regulations and institutional standards while supporting the strategic objectives that advance our mission to eliminate cancer. Requirements JD degree and Texas bar admission (or willingness to obtain within 1 year) 4+ years of transactional legal experience with IP law background Experience in law firm, healthcare, academic, or corporate legal settings Experience with research agreements (MTAs, clinical trials, grants) We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
