Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated attorney to join our workers' compensation defense team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to launch their legal career in a fast-paced litigation practice area. As a workers' compensation defense attorney, you will have ample opportunities to interface with clients directly, both through active litigation of cases and through educational programs. Responsibilities: Conduct legal research and analysis related to workers' compensation laws and regulations Assist senior attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and medical experts Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations both virtually and in-person Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and tactics Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation Stay up to date on developments in workers' compensation law Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Expected Admission to the state (PA, WV, or NJ) bar Strong academic record Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Commitment to professionalism and client service We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
