Shamin Hotels invites you to join our team as a Sales & Event Manager. We are seeking someone who values teamwork, takes ownership of their role, and is passionate about serving our guests with warmth and hospitality.
As the Sales & Event Manager, you will be responsible for effectively soliciting all accounts in the assigned market segments. Your responsibilities will include prospecting and closing on assigned accounts to positively impact the assigned hotel(s) revenues based on the goals assigned to each hotel. You will be the central contact for information specific to this department for assigned hotels.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to boost room and catering revenues
Establishing new accounts through prospecting and outside sales calls
Generating revenue by up-selling and booking repeat business while keeping quality consistently high
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to boost room and catering revenues
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agents, and other potential customers.
Conduct meetings, presentations, and site tours to showcase hotel facilities, catering services, and food and beverage offerings.
Revenue Generation:
Maximize food, beverage and meeting room rental through effective pricing strategies and revenue management techniques.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling of hotel amenities, catering packages, and dining experiences to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
Team Leadership and Training:
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.
Marketing and Promotion:
Work with corporate marketing partners to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities to drive awareness and demand for hotel catering services, and food and beverage offerings.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing materials, advertisements, and online content.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the hotel and its hospitality services.
