ADA Accommodations Analyst (Limited Duration)

This Limited Duration ADA Accommodations Analyst (Human Resources Analyst 2) assignment will be a part of the County Central Human Resources, working within the Benefits Office on the new ADA Team, who support, protect and serve the community every day. Responsibilities include administering ADA accommodations, maintaining employees’ confidential medical files and protected health information (PHI), interpreting and following state and federal laws governing ADA accommodations, and providing training in partnership with the Office of Diversity and Equity around ADA policy and practices at the county. The ideal candidate is an administrative support professional well versed in performing the interactive Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) process, with excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and take initiative. Essential Job Functions: Apply informed judgment to administer ADA accommodations Maintain employees’ confidential medical files and protected health information (PHI) in accordance with requirements set forth by the Multnomah County privacy office Interpret, understand and follow state and federal laws governing ADA accommodations as well as county policies and guidelines Provide training in partnership with the Office of Diversity and Equity around ADA policy and practices at the county Facilitate the interactive processes for ADA, gather information, research, analyze and resolve requests Communicate with the employee throughout the process, as well as their manager regarding their direct report To Qualify: Bachelor's degree or experience may substitute for a degree 1-2 years experience in administering ADA accommodations Preferred Qualifications/Transferable Skills: More than 2 years of experience in administering ADA accommodations Experience administering ADA accommodations in a union environment Advanced spreadsheet experience (Microsoft Excel) Equal Pay Law:

The pay range listed for this position is intended to provide general guidance on the earning potential for the role.
