Join Knowledge Road as a Licensed Psychologist to support the mental health and academic success of students in Brooklyn. Overview/Impact : We are seeking a full-time Licensed Psychologist to provide essential psychological services to students in NYC Department of Education (DOE) schools. Your expertise is urgently needed to help students navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges. Responsibilities : Provide direct, high-quality individual and group counseling services to students. Address a comprehensive range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns. Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to inform treatment planning and educational recommendations. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities. Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, school administrators, and other mental health professionals. Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all services, progress, and outcomes. Qualifications : Must Have :
NYS license as a Licensed Psychologist. Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited program. Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychological services to children and adolescents. Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and teletherapy platforms. NYC DOE fingerprinting and vendor status required or willingness to obtain prior to start.
Preferred :
Experience in a school-based setting or educational environment. Specialized training in child and adolescent therapy modalities. Experience with psychological assessment and testing.
Compensation : $75/hr (1099).
