The Manager, District Sales, Strategic Channel Partners maintains, prospects, and closes accounts within the assigned territory, with a focus on the Strategic Channel Partners market. This role develops and executes a sales strategy in collaboration with the management team and department consensus, builds strong relationships with accounts, drives sales, and meets quotas. Responsibilities include managing all assigned territory activities such as account calls, travel planning, forecasting, resource management, prioritizing accounts by potential, and closing sales. Duties & Responsibilities
Account Management & Account Mapping: Maintain a high level of customer service and account profitability in the assigned region; increase sales and develop future opportunities through proactive prospecting; contact accounts, qualify them, secure presentations, and close leads generated by prospecting; participate in vertical market events (trade shows, technology seminars, association meetings). Sales Strategy Development: Develop a sales strategy for the territory and provide a blueprint of specific actions to achieve or exceed regional goals; analyze current and targeted customers with actual and projected results by product; monitor sales activities and adjust as needed; provide feedback to sales and marketing management for strategic decisions. Administration & Reporting: Provide monthly calendar and weekly sales reports detailing opportunities in the territory; maintain an updated calendar with current and future sales appointments. Experience & Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (Preferred). Experience : Minimum 7 years in a client-facing sales role; experience managing accounts in a defined region; experience driving business and increasing sales over assigned accounts; experience in printer/scanner/labeling markets or similar industry; knowledge of industry trends and best practices. Software/Technical Skills : Extensive understanding of computer peripheral solutions (e.g., Printer/Fax/MFC products); proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word); knowledge of SAP CRM system. Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities : Ability to maintain positive client relationships; ability to increase sales and close accounts; excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; ability to diagnose customer issues and provide solutions. Additional Details For This Role
This role is remote and field-based. A fixed office schedule is not required. Territory: New York and New England Area. Travel is expected up to 50% of the time (approximately 6–8 trips per quarter, depending on business needs). Compensation
Base Salary : $80,000 – $95,000 per year. Base salary determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market data. Additional Compensation : Eligible for a $26,000 annual sales bonus at 100% of target, with potential to exceed target; eligible for a 6.86% bonus at 100% of target; discretionary bonuses depend on performance and company plans. Auto allowance paid monthly to support business-related vehicle use, in addition to Travel & Entertainment policy. Benefits
