Cardiac Surgeon Opportunity – Vassar Brothers Medical Center – Poughkeepsie, New York (75 minutes north of New York City) Vassar Brothers Medical Center, part of Northwell Health, has an excellent opportunity for a board-certified or eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join its award-winning cardiothoracic team. Our employed practice consists of 3 cardiothoracic surgeons (with one position open) and a dedicated team of allied health professionals including 24/7/365 in-house PA coverage. Vassar is located in Poughkeepsie, New York, about 75 minutes north of New York City in the Mid-Hudson Valley. The program performs the full range of cardiac services, including multi-arterial CABG, minimally invasive and robotic mitral and aortic valve repair and replacement, advanced aortic surgery, ECMO and procedures for atrial fibrillation. Excellent people-skills and a strong desire and ability to function within a cohesive team is a must.
