Entry-Level Assembler

Join our team as an Entry-Level Assembler, where you will play a critical role in assembling essential components for our products. This is an exciting opportunity to build a career in manufacturing while contributing to the production of high-quality electrical solutions.

As an Entry-Level Assembler, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing for assembly by reviewing instructions, blueprints, and parts lists, and gathering necessary components and tools.
• Positioning parts and subassemblies accurately using templates and measurements.
• Connecting components and ensuring proper fit through fastening and assembly processes.
• Assisting in building prototypes and other assembly projects outside of regular production.
• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety rules and regulations.
• Using resources efficiently to complete tasks effectively.
• Supporting team members by sharing knowledge on basic assembly tasks.
• Inspecting finished work for quality assurance before handing it off to the next stage.
• Documenting processes by filling out production and quality forms.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have a High School diploma, GED, or a combination of relevant work experience and skills.
• Ideally possess 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Can safely operate small hand and power tools.
• Can read and interpret assembly drawings and bills of material.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Are able to understand written and verbal instructions in English.

The physical demands of this position include:

• Medium to Heavy Physical Demand Level as classified by the US Dept of Labor.
• Lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance, and 40 pounds frequently.
• Carrying weights of up to 40 pounds intermittently up to 25 feet.
• Pushing and pulling weights of up to 40 pounds frequently, and more with assistance when necessary.
• Continuous standing and walking, with frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and lifting.
• Regular use of hands for gripping and handling tools.
• Working collaboratively on tasks that may require two-person assistance for heavy lifting and moving.
