Entry-Level Assembler

Join our dynamic team as an Entry-Level Assembler! In this role, you will be crucial in performing a variety of assembly and sub-assembly operations that are essential to our manufacturing process.

As an Entry-Level Assembler, you will:

• Prepare for the job by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists, and by gathering necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Accurately position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
• Assemble components, ensuring proper fit and fastening of parts and subassemblies.
• Assist in building prototypes and basic assembly projects outside typical production as needed.
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment by following all relevant procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserve resources effectively by utilizing equipment and supplies to achieve optimal job results.
• Contribute to team success by training others in basic assembly tasks as required.
• Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards before passing it to the next step of production.
• Document processes and actions by completing production and quality forms.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have a High School diploma, GED, or a combination of work experience and skills.
• Ideally possess 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Can safely operate small hand and power tools.
• Have the ability to read and interpret drawings and bills of materials.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Are able to read and comprehend instructions as well as verbal directions in English.

The physical demands of the job include:

• Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level as classified by the US Dept of Labor.
• Lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally (overhead and with assistance), and up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Carrying up to 40 pounds occasionally (up to 25 feet).
• Frequent pushing and pulling of loads up to 40 pounds, and occasional assistance for heavier loads.
• Continuous standing and walking, with frequent bending, squatting, lifting, and manual dexterity tasks.
