- Location: Marshall, MI 49068 (Michigan nursing jobs)
- Facility Setting: Emergency Room (11 beds)
- Employment Type: Locum tenens (Travel/Contract ER RN jobs)
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/2/2026)
- Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and available for holiday coverage
- Electronic Medical Record: Cerner EMR
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1760 - $1890
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license (required for Michigan healthcare jobs)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Certifications: ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
- TNCC certification preferred
ER RN Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care and clinical support to patients in the Emergency Room
- Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment throughout all phases of the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Direct and supervise the nursing patient care team, including Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and healthcare technicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of patient care, condition, reactions, and response to treatment
- Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
