Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a locum tenens travel nursing job in Rochester, MI (48307). Compensation
- Compensation: $44-$57 per hour, estimated weekly salary $1930-$1990
ER RN Job Details – Rochester, MI
- Location: Rochester, Michigan 48307 (Detroit metro area)
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED)
- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
- Start Date: October 13, 2025
- End Date: January 10, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 7:00pm – 7:30am, 12-hour rotating shifts
- Hours per Week: 36 (3x12 hour shifts)
- Shift Details: Every other weekend required; must be available for at least one holiday (day and evening); No call
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- EMR System: Cerner EMR
ER Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications preferred
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
ER Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
- Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and families
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient status and care plans
- Identify and address variances from patient goals, implementing solutions as needed
- Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and analytical skills to provide effective nursing care
