Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a locum tenens travel nursing job in Rochester, MI (48307). Compensation

• Compensation: $44-$57 per hour, estimated weekly salary $1930-$1990

ER RN Job Details – Rochester, MI

• Location: Rochester, Michigan 48307 (Detroit metro area)
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED)
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• End Date: January 10, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 7:00pm – 7:30am, 12-hour rotating shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 (3x12 hour shifts)
• Shift Details: Every other weekend required; must be available for at least one holiday (day and evening); No call
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• EMR System: Cerner EMR

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications preferred
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and families
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient status and care plans
• Identify and address variances from patient goals, implementing solutions as needed
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and analytical skills to provide effective nursing care
