LHH is searching for a temporary to hire Accounting Clerk for a manufacturing company in the Kent, WA area. This role is fully onsite but free parking is offered. The ideal candidate will have at least a year of accounting experience. You will work on a team, and some training will be provided, however high attention to detail and accuracy is necessary for this position. The team handles a high volume of work so someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment is desired.
Responsibilities:
- Process weekly invoices, including printing, coding, and verifying documentation.
- Conduct weekly check runs across multiple entities to ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare and submit customer billing invoices promptly.
- Manage weekly collections and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Address vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Monitor and replenish office supply inventory as needed.
- Assist with general accounting tasks and administrative support.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- One or more years of experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Proficient in invoice processing and data entry.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and maintain reliability in an onsite role.
