Overview
Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Chaska, MN 55318. This is a 3 months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.
Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $24.00/hr
Duration: 3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)
Shift: Must be flexible to work between M-F 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM
Pay rate: $22-24/hr on W-2 without benefits. Pay rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.
Note: Preference will be given to candidates with experience using Epic and/or Quanum.

Responsibilities
- The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of our company to patients who come in, both for routine visits and for insights into health decisions.
- The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
- The PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and drawing blood in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
- The PSR I demonstrates Leadership Behaviors with focus on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information. Successful applicants may be assigned to a doctor’s office, a patient service center, or as business needs dictate.
- Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
- Demonstrate excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Work Experience
- Minimum of 6 months experience.
- One or more years phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience required.
