Job Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Own the design of space-grade/high-reliability digital modules — component selection, schematic capture, constraints, and layout oversight.
• Lead hardware bring-up and validation of high-speed digital boards (PCIe Gen3/4, DDR4, 10/40/100 GbE).
• Troubleshoot and resolve digital hardware issues during development and post-production.
• Partner with firmware, embedded software, FPGA, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Document designs, test procedures, and results to support flight-qualified builds.
• Optimize designs for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in extreme environments.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent exp: 9 yrs w/o degree, 3 yrs w/ Master’s).
• 5+ years of specialized experience in high-speed digital hardware and PCB design.
• Strong background with ARM or Intel microprocessors.
• Proficiency in schematic capture (Siemens DXDesigner or Altium).
• Hands-on design and integration experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR4, 10–100 GbE).
• Switching power supply design (high current/low voltage).
• Familiarity with Hyperlynx SI/PI and signal/power integrity for high-speed systems.
• Experience in radiation-hardened or high-reliability designs is a major plus.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
