Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Cybersecurity team. As a trusted advisor, skilled storyteller, and sharp strategist, you will partner with leading-edge brands at the forefront of global security innovation.

• Media & Influencer Relations: Lead media strategy and execution for cybersecurity clients, craft and deliver creative pitches, and drive influencer engagement.
• Client Service & Program Management: Own tactical execution of PR program elements, lead weekly client calls, and manage projects from kickoff to execution.
• Writing & Content Development: Write and edit high-impact cybersecurity-focused content, including thought leadership articles, press releases, and speaking abstracts.
• Insights, Analytics & Integration: Lead results reporting and campaign measurement, leverage insights to refine campaign strategies, and collaborate across teams.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor junior staff, foster an inclusive team culture, and lead by example through proactive collaboration.
• Agency Engagement & Operations: Contribute to new business initiatives, write for Highwire’s blog, and participate in security conferences and networking events.

What You Bring

• 3-5 years of PR/communications experience in an agency setting.
• Direct experience working with cybersecurity clients or within the security industry.
• Strong media relationships across tech, business, and security trades.
• Ability to understand and translate complex cybersecurity topics into compelling media narratives.
• Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills.
