About the Role
We’re looking for a Recruiting Lead to join our People team, where you’ll own full-cycle recruiting and shape the way Mutiny attracts, engages, and closes top talent. You’ll be our culture ambassador in the NYC office — driving not just hires, but also energy, creativity, and the employer brand that brings the best people to Mutiny.
This role is based out of our New York City office and requires being in-person 5 days a week.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the full recruiting lifecycle — from intake with hiring managers to offer close.
- Design and execute creative sourcing strategies that break the mold (think: highly targeted market mapping, personalized outreach, and innovative tactics that stand out).
- Partner with leadership and hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs and build talent strategies that raise the bar.
- Act as Mutiny’s culture catalyst: hosting candidates in-office, showcasing our values, and amplifying our employer brand in the market.
- Experiment with new recruiting approaches and continuously improve how we attract and engage top-tier candidates.
- Flex into employer branding projects and people ops initiatives during lighter recruiting cycles.
What You Bring
- 4–6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in high-growth SaaS, startup, or agency environments.
- A proven track record of closing top talent in competitive markets.
- Experience building creative sourcing campaigns and experimenting with new ways to attract talent.
- Strength in building trusted partnerships with hiring managers and executives.
- Someone energized by ambiguity who creates structure and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A natural connector who brings positivity, energy, and culture into the office.

Hiring Process
Our process typically takes 2–3 weeks end-to-end.
- Recruiter Screen (15 minutes) – A casual intro chat where we’ll learn a bit about your background and share more about Mutiny and this Recruiting Lead role.
- Hiring Manager Screen (45 minutes) – A deep dive with the Hiring Manager into your experience, recruiting style, and career goals.
- Take-Home Assignment (~2 hours) – A practical sourcing exercise focused on finding candidate profiles and building an outreach plan.
- Virtual Onsite (3 conversations, ~3 hours total)
- References – We’ll connect with past colleagues to understand your track record and working style.
- Executive Sign-Off – A final conversation with Jaleh (CEO & Cofounder) before making things official.

Compensation
We offer a competitive package including base salary, equity, and full benefits.
The estimated salary range for this role is $140,000–$180,000, depending on experience.
