Overview

1st Advantage Dental-Glenville is looking for a full-time Licensed hygienist to join our team. Location: 493 Saratoga Rd, Glenville, New York 12302. Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00-5:00. Pay: $46-50/hr. We offer competitive hourly pay, excellent benefits, bonus opportunities, and over 200 CE’s. Willing to consider part-time.

Responsibilities

  • Join a collaborative 7-person team that emphasizes communication and community.
  • Provide dental hygiene care in alignment with practice standards and patient needs.
  • Engage with patients to deliver high-quality preventive education and clinical care.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current New York dental hygienist license and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required).
  • Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital X-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills for patient care and preventative maintenance.
  • Clinical needs as required by the office.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties as required, with reasonable accommodations if needed.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
  • Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically.
  • TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions (not applicable in FL & TN).
