The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is looking for a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor. Lead our housekeeping team at an elegant restoration of the former Elks Club in downtown Kenosha. You'll ensure top-notch cleanliness across 80 guest rooms, suites, and gorgeous event venues—including a dramatic ballroom, intimate café, and rooftop bar—just steps from Lake Michigan and local hotspots.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning floors, walls, surfaces, toilets, light fixtures, and other hotel areas.
  • Assist housekeeping and other departments with delivering items for guests.
  • Dust all furniture, fixtures, pictures, drawers, ledges, etc. throughout public areas, rooms, etc.
  • Vacuum guest rooms and empty trashes.
  • Replenish supplies for public areas and bathrooms.
  • Ensure each guest room is to hotel standards prior to releasing to front desk.
  • Inspecting and approving work completed by housekeeping team.
  • Create and maintain daily housekeeping boards.
  • Supervise day to day operations of housekeeping.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hotel housekeeping and/or cleaning experience preferred.
  • Supervisor and/or management experience required.
  • Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment.
  • Dependability and regular attendance.
  • Ability to interact with guests and co-workers in a courteous, empathetic and discreet manner.
  • Ability to lift or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work weekends.
