• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier

Essential Job Functions

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk works as In-Store Grocery Shopper selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for customers' online orders.
• Online Grocery Pick-Up team assembles orders, processes coupons and payment, and delivers and loads orders to cars when customers arrive for pick up.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper scans and bags orders while following bagging standards.
• E-Commerce team communicates substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up time.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customers\' orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Read and follow directions given in the note section; ensure quality and freshness of all items.
• Communicate with customers via portable phone in a professional and timely manner.
• Retrieve each customer\'s order from staging locations and ensure order accuracy, load into customers\' cars.
• Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping.
• Process orders through the POS system.
• Follow policies to determine substitutions for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies to the e-Commerce supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of items needing repair.
• Perform required opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues.
