The Department of Industrial Relations is currently recruiting for a
Staff Services Manager III
in the Office of the Director. The Staff Services Manager III will serve as a Special Assistant to the Director, providing high-level expertise and assistance on a wide variety of administrative operations, including fiscal, policy, human resources, and organizational management, as well as department structure. The SSM III will be responsible for overseeing and supervising the work of a group of analysts assigned to complex division projects and assignments, coordinating significant policy and program matters with DIR executive staff, and serving as a liaison between the Director and programs, state control agencies, the Legislature, the Governor\'s Office, and other external entities. This posting may be used to fill future vacancies in accordance with 2 CCR 249.3. Special Requirements

The SOQ is a narrative discussion describing how the applicant\'s skills, knowledge, abilities, education, training, and experience qualify them for the position.
