Responsibilities

Design, build and implement virtual solutions to simulate APIs and edge applications.

Create and maintain virtual services, data models and performance simulations to support faster testing.

Methods and enable teams to deliver testing artifacts at a shorter timeline.

Work closely with developers and product managers/owners to identify areas of improvement for Service Virtualization and Performance Engineering.

Quickly understand the project team’s application architecture and priorities to provide feedback that balances speed with enterprise governance standards.

Generate simulated virtualized services using Broadcom Dev Test tool; create VSI and VSM and import into Workstation.

Record and simulate system dependencies using the imported VSI/VSM.

Monitor and analyze test execution using the Dev Test Portal, Registry, Coordinator and recommend services that can be virtualized; collaborate with application teams to implement improvements.

Develop virtualized services to embed into the continuous testing process.

Help teams identify opportunities to shift to a Test Driven Development model and foster shift-left maturity.

Maintain excellent analytical and communication skills; interact with functional users and provide feedback to the technical team.

Assist Environment / Release Management to optimize test environment progression and enable teams to utilize environments without physical availability constraints.

Qualifications / Skills

Experience with service virtualization and performance engineering.

Proficiency with Broadcom Dev Test tooling (VSI/VSM) or similar tooling.

Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
