PRECISION MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT CALIBRATOR
Position Description You will serve as a PRECISION MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT CALIBRATOR in the Calibration Lab, Production Department, and System Components and Calibration Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Pay Rates: WG-10: $36.48 - $42.58/hr; WG-11: $38.68 - $45.12/hr.
Responsibilities
Perform testing, calibration, diagnostics, repair, and certification of electronic measurement equipment, electro-mechanical equipment, and mechanical test systems.
Apply knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic principles.
Operate electronic principles related to equipment integrated with other devices and multi-component assemblies with intricate functional relationships.
Utilize electronic circuits to measure quantities to determine performance characteristics and accuracy of other instruments and equipment.
Assess the impact of repairs on related integrated devices and perform further adjustments and alignments.
Create and execute a complete operation testing program for a system or product for a weapons system or combat system.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Salary: $36.48; Maximum Salary: $45.12
