$31.25 Who we’re looking for Per Scholas seeks an IT Support Outline instructor to join our Training Team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong technical and instructional skills, able to adapt quickly to a dynamic environment, and accountable. To succeed, candidates should be business-minded within our mission and excel in instructional delivery that meets clients’ and learners’ high expectations. Responsibilities

Support instructor-led training that prepares students for entry-level to mid-level IT Support roles. Responsibilities include daily instruction, assessment administration, attendance, one-on-one tutoring, daily evaluation and monitoring of student progress, addressing student violations consistently, and more. Provide students with access to relevant resources for outside learning on technologies and study aids relevant to the curriculum. Collaborate with the team to identify student needs, provide support, establish individualized plans for student achievement, and participate in regular student-status meetings. Maintain and update Salesforce and/or our LMS with student grades, certification scores, and progress notes. Support and maintain training curricula, syllabi, lesson plans, and other classroom materials. What you’ll bring to us

Instructional Skill Sets

1-3 years of teaching or training experience Strong technical background; able to convey highly technical subject matter Ability to respond clearly to live digital conversations via platforms such as Zoom or in-person settings Required Skill Sets

Proficient understanding of IT support fundamentals (hardware, software, networking) Familiarity with Windows, MacOS, and Linux Experience troubleshooting common IT issues (software installs, network configurations, hardware malfunctions) Knowledge of IT security protocols and best practices Ability to work with diverse IT tools (helpdesk ticketing systems, remote desktop tools, hardware diagnostics) Understanding of cloud computing platforms and services Experience with mobile device management and troubleshooting Familiarity with virtualization technologies Knowledge of IT support best practices and SLAs Ability to stay updated with the evolving tech landscape Commitment to ongoing professional development and relevant certifications Preferred Skill Sets

Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, and macOS Experience setting up and managing wired and wireless networks Experience configuring and securing mobile devices (Android and iOS) Experience with Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS) Experience designing Group Policy and managing user environments Experience with server storage (RAID, disks) Experience implementing backup strategies on Windows Server Professional Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical/industry experience); Master’s preferred Strong technical aptitude with tools like Google Sheets/Excel, Salesforce, Slack, Zoom Excellent written communication, presentation, and customer service skills Solid understanding of business needs; strong evaluation and data management skills Relevant IT background a plus; willingness to learn is essential Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) preferred At least three years of IT support experience Personal Characteristics
