Under the direction of the Deposit Operations Manager, the Deposit Operations Specialist II will perform a variety of functions to ensure the efficient operation of the area in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures. Responsibilities and Duties

CDARS - back office processing weekly entries Process CD Interest Checks Process Account Sweep setups Review and Update Dormant Account status Review Accounts in Escheat Status and file Unclaimed Property Report Review Stop Payment Setup Process 1099INT and Tax Withholding corrections Monitor, Charge-off and Reporting for Overdraft Accounts Process Garnishments, Freezes & Levies Process Death Notifications & ACH Prenotes Process Non-Post, NSF and Stop Payment Exception Items Process ACH Returns Process ACH Disputes in DTS tracking system Process Fed Returns - Charge Back Checks Work with Branches to resolve Teller Suspense GL Work Help Tickets - (Service Now) Learn how to process IOLTA Report and send to the state Incoming/Outgoing Large Item Notifications Process Outgoing/Incoming Fed Adjustments on posting errors Process Internal corrections for posting errors Large Item Review > $50,000 on In clearing Checks Assist with research for subpoenas Attention to regulatory requirements and compliance training applicable to position (Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Information Privacy etc.) Understands the Bank's overall risk appetite and how the specific department and individual job responsibilities align with the effective management of Bank risk. Ability to follow directions in a timely and accurate manner Common sense and sound judgment Strong attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office Time management and ability to prioritize Strong sense of urgency Pleasant telephone skills and courteous manner a must High school graduate or equivalent; A minimum of one year's experience working in a back-office support role; operations and/or accounting experience preferred A minimum of one year's experience working in a back-office support role; operations and/or teller experience preferred Experience using Jack Henry system is a preferred but not required Company Overview
