Salesforce DevOps & Release Management
Define and enforce branching strategies, version control practices, and release governance. Manage multi-org environment strategies: sandbox refreshes, data seeding, and integration alignment. Streamline deployments with deployment strategies, back promotions, hotfix management.
Configure, customize, and extend Copado pipelines to meet unique enterprise requirements.
Design and enforce Quality Gates in Copado (code coverage, PMD/ESLint scans, security scans, unit/regression tests).
Innovate by building custom Copado functions (e.g., script-based automations, integration with external tools).
Optimize Copado performance by leveraging features like Shared Component Analyzer, DORA metrics, and regression automation.
Continuously evaluate Copado roadmap and propose innovative use cases that improve speed, compliance, and quality of releases.
Stakeholder Engagement & Consulting
Partner with client Salesforce CoEs, Architects, and Developers to implement DevOps transformations.
Conduct maturity assessments, workshops, and roadmap planning sessions.
Mentor developers and release managers in Copado best practices and DevOps metrics-driven culture.
Identify automation opportunities and reduce manual deployment tasks.
Monitor KPIs such as deployment frequency, failure rate, and mean time to recovery, and drive improvements.
Stay current with Salesforce DevOps innovations and propose enhancements to customers.
Qualifications
Experience: 6–10 years in Salesforce ecosystem, with 3–5 years in Salesforce DevOps/Release Engineering.
Copado: Advanced hands-on expertise in pipeline design, customization, scripting, and quality gate setup.
Tools: GitHub/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, PMD/ESLint, Selenium/Provar (for test automation integration).
Salesforce Knowledge: Strong understanding of metadata model, Apex testing, packaging, APIs, and deployment automation.
Certifications (preferred): Salesforce Certified Administrator / Platform App Builder
Soft Skills: Strong consulting, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring capabilities.
