The Infrastructure Engineering Lead Analyst will help improve productivity and competitiveness through technology transformation initiatives and participate in Microservices architecture implementation and OpenShift migration. They will also manage initiatives to remediate vulnerability and security threats by implementing engineering solutions to mitigate cyber security risk, improve productivity, and enhance stability and scalability of business-critical applications. Responsibilities of the role include driving architectural vision, technology roadmaps, and technical leadership while aligning with enterprise standards and governance. Responsibilities

Execute and implement the architectural vision for all IT systems through major, complex IT architecture projects; ensure engineering solutions conform to enterprise blueprints.

Implement technology roadmaps, stay current with emerging technologies, and recommend business directions based on these technologies.

Provide technical leadership and contribute to the development of components of, or the overall systems engineering and design.

Apply hardware engineering and software design principles in researching, designing, and developing product hardware and software interfaces.

Understand how the candidate’s area contributes to the business and maintain knowledge of competitors’ products and services.

Demonstrate sophisticated analytical thinking to resolve issues in complex situations.

Understand Enterprise Standards and implementation techniques to engineer solutions that improve platform productivity.

Partner with stakeholders and technical teams continuously.

Grow and develop subject matter expertise and align solutions to business needs and goals.

Provide thought leadership and coaching for junior team members.

Follow and contribute to technical and team standards and governance processes and ensure adherence across teams.

Collaborate with technical leadership to align work with broad technical strategy and Enterprise Standards.

Apply knowledge within own area and related areas to resolve issues as necessary.

Apply extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle to build software to high standards.

Perform other duties as assigned and assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets by adhering to laws and regulations and escalating control issues with transparency.

Qualifications

Fifteen years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation.

8+ years of experience creating end-to-end pipeline automation for infrastructure deployment and cloud-based solutions for AI products.

Industry certifications are a plus.

Technical Skills Experience must include: Evaluating complex business and system processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability for digital transformation by assessing new tools, technologies, and processes.

Strong understanding of architecture and networking, architecture review processes, third-party due diligence, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, change management, cyber exercises, reviews, and audits.

Experience with authentication and authorization, including SSO/SAML integration with vendor products and entitlements.

Experience with private on-premises and public cloud (AWS), OpenShift, and DevOps tools to deliver scalable, highly available platforms; knowledge of databases (RDBMS, NoSQL).

Managing cloud services for scalability, resiliency, security, and performance; infrastructure automation with CloudFormation or Terraform.

Continuous integration and delivery on Kubernetes/OpenShift using tools such as Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Tekton, and Harness.

Experience with security, APIs, observability, and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch) for dedicated instances as required.

Ability to work with multiple third-party cloud-based SaaS solutions and enforce governance and compliance processes; familiarity with CISO and Model Risk Management processes is preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or a related field.
