Senior Accountant - 90% Remote

Work-from-home 90%+ of the time (occasional in-office collaboration) Career growth potential with a rapidly expanding nonprofit Be part of a team where your work directly supports a greater mission What You’ll Do Lead the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data Manage month-end close and prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments Prepare and analyze P&L reports and financial statements Perform account reconciliations across multiple accounts Oversee cash flow management and reporting Support audit preparation and help strengthen internal controls Partner with leadership on special projects and process improvements What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus) 3–6 years of accounting experience (nonprofit, public, or corporate) Solid understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, etc.) Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and proactive in problem-solving What We Offer Competitive salary + benefits Opportunities to advance as the organization grows Seniority level
