Corporate Controller - West Palm Beach FL - Commercial Real Estate
Our team is working with a leading mixed-use REIT based in West Palm Beach to hire a Corporate Controller for their growing team. The Controller will lead various teams in financial reporting, daily and period-end accounting activities, general ledger financial analysis, cash management, cash flow analysis, projections, and variance analysis. Responsibilities:
Lead a team in accurately accounting for building operations and transactions Review and analyze the general ledger, financial statements, and journal entries in accordance with GAAP Prepare financial statement analysis for management and partners on a GAAP basis Collaborate on cash flow forecasting with SVP and executives Review monthly, quarterly, and year-end work papers and general ledger analysis Prepare annual audited financial statements Assist with budgets and quarterly forecasts Review bank reconciliations Create reporting templates and perform analysis using Excel, JD Edwards, and other software Participate in process/technology initiatives and assist with special projects Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 10+ years of real estate experience, CPA preferred Public accounting experience is a plus Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Knowledge of JD Edwards and Hubble is a plus This full-time role offers a 4-day workweek with 1 day remote, up to $170K base salary, up to 20% bonus, and comprehensive benefits.
