Premier Medical Resources is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for overseeing operations in connection with accounts receivable, including full cycle processing of Accounts Receivable; such as collections, posting payments, and ensuring invoices are prepared accurately and timely. Responsibilities
Answers telephone and assist with account inquiries Responds to requests for information including sending faxes and e-mails Reconcile and coordinate with the billing team for all incoming payments Follows up with pending/outstanding incoming payments Reviews incoming mail, captures information and forwards to posting team Prepares payment for deposit Collects and organizes medical records payments Updates information and scan documents into the database Ensures completeness and accuracy of tasks and projects Reports statistics as required Performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications Strong attention to detail: being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks Ability to adapt with flexibility: being open to change and to considerable variety in the workplace Ability to work independently by guiding oneself with little or no supervision and depending on oneself to get things done Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette Energetic with a desire to learn and develop new skills Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED One (1) year of Accounts Receivable experience in a healthcare setting Premier Medical Resources is a healthcare management company headquartered in Northwest Houston, Texas.
