Financial Risk Manager
to oversee our exposure to market, price, liquidity, and investment risks in Coral Gables. This position plays a vital role in enhancing our risk management framework and advising leadership on non-credit related financial risks. The ideal candidate
must be bilingual
(English/Spanish)
and bring deep expertise in financial risk within a regulated banking environment. Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from New Edge Associates a Talent Acquisition Firm Responsibilities
Monitor and evaluate exposure to interest rate, market, liquidity, and investment risks. Develop and maintain quantitative risk tools including VaR, sensitivity analysis, and stress testing. Analyze liquidity positions, funding sources, and develop contingency funding strategies. Evaluate investment portfolio risks and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and risk limits. Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of risk policies and governance frameworks. Collaborate with finance, treasury, and strategy teams to embed risk awareness organization-wide. Present risk dashboards, reports, and recommendations to executive leadership and risk committees. Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and support audit readiness and compliance. Provide training and guidance on risk practices and regulatory changes. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or FRM/CFA/PRM preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial risk (non-credit), within banking or ALM. Deep knowledge of market, liquidity, and investment risk metrics and regulatory standards. Strong communication skills in
both English and Spanish . Excellent analytical and presentation skills, with a collaborative and proactive mindset. Seniority level
