Banking Associate - 20 hours - North Beverly, MA. Location: Beverly, Massachusetts, United States of America. Schedule: 20 hours per week. Performs a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services. Delivers end-to-end advisory interactions: building trust with educational content, providing consultative support, and offering proactive insights and recommendations. Uses TD systems and tools to engage with customers to acquire and deepen relationships through advice and guidance. Understands customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote products/services or refer to the appropriate team member while ensuring a positive customer experience. Completes everyday banking transactions on teller lines or platforms, educating on products and referring to the appropriate expert as needed. Serves customers on both teller lines and platforms, including opening/closing personal deposit accounts, handling everyday transactions, and addressing debit/credit card issues and digital banking needs. Engages in lead management activities to create and manage self-generated leads and referrals, reach out to customers, set appointments, and prioritize leads. Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED 1 year of experience working with customers (volunteering, education, military experience acceptable) Customer service skills preferred Ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Teller experience preferred; required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training on hire Strong organization and communication skills; ability to solve problems and prioritize work Proficiency in Microsoft Office; notary license preferred Customer & Shareholder Accountabilities
Provide legendary customer service while promoting and educating on TD products Build and nurture customer relationships with product knowledge and active listening Manage wait times and schedule meetings with bankers as needed Be a first point of contact for customer inquiries and resolutions Understand and support the Bank's customer service strategy and compliance requirements Drive referrals to store colleagues and partners to support broader financial needs Follow policies and complete required training; maintain compliance with audit and regulatory requirements Adhere to TD Code of Conduct Employee/Team Accountability
