We provide self-performed exterior building services to private and public customers, including masonry restoration, repointing, façade restoration, historic preservation, brick replacement, sheet metal restoration, building exterior cleaning, leak detection, roofing repairs, and parking garage restoration. About the Job We’re seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Accountant / Bookkeeper to support a fast-paced construction business. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has gained experience and is looking for long-term growth, or for a more experienced individual who has demonstrated consistency and professionalism in past roles. You’ll help manage critical administrative functions like payroll, A/R and A/P, general ledger entries, and overall keeping operations running smoothly. Monthly financial statement preparation Job costing Certified payroll A/R and A/P Union reporting Support payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and general administrative functions to keep operations running smoothly What We Look For
You’ve worked your way up — starting small and proving yourself. Or, you’ve shown long-term stability and dependability in one or two roles. You’re organized, detail-oriented, and eager to take ownership. Extremely organized with strong attention to detail Proven ability to grow professionally (e.g., advancement on past resumes) Tech-savvy: able to quickly learn construction platforms and tools (e.g., Procore, Sage, Excel, Drop Box, Adobe, Word) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-starter who takes ownership of their work Comfortable handling confidential or sensitive information professionally Strong written and verbal communication High level of integrity and dependability Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or higher Experience in construction related field is a plus Track record of either (i) Steady progression from entry-level positions, or (ii) Long-term stability in prior roles if more experienced Seniority level
