A well-established and growing company in the luxury goods industry is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented
Senior Accountant
to join its Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in financial operations during a dynamic and fast-paced period. The Senior Accountant will oversee core accounting functions, support month-end close activities, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, advanced SAP expertise, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr This range is provided by Leeds Professional Resources. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities
Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain and analyze the general ledger, ensuring proper classification and posting of transactions. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L reporting. Reconcile and manage intercompany accounts to support the consolidation process. Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency and accuracy. Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards (US GAAP or IFRS). Partner with Finance and Global teams to ensure financial accuracy and consistency. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within retail, consumer products, or related industries. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Advanced proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant platforms. Experience managing high-volume data and performing detailed reconciliations. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. CPA (or progress toward certification) is a plus. Seniority level
