Realty Operations Group The Leasing Consultant is the residential sales representative whose primary duties are to greet clients, present the features and benefits of the assigned property, and properly secure lease agreements from qualified persons. As a key employee liaison between all guests of the community and the ownership, the Consultant must have leasing experience with multi-family residential units, be familiar with computer software to perform various tasks, have a proven track record in sales and leasing, and possess excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills. Base pay range

$40,000.00/yr - $45,000.00/yr Additional compensation types

Open the leasing office daily, including ensuring cleanliness of the office, preparing refreshments for potential guests, taking phones off overnight service, and checking/responding to voicemail. Meet, greet and qualify customers and lease apartments. Conduct apartment tours and follow up on daily traffic. Execute thorough and organized follow-up efforts. Use proper phone etiquette for all calls to residents; maintain professionalism. Ensure proper data entry of prospect information. Process incoming applications, including running screening/credit checks in accordance with company procedures and Fair Housing requirements. Prepare all lease documents and conduct lease signings. Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on the agreed date. Provide on-site customer service to residents in support of the property manager. Collaborate with the property management team to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, sister properties, and competitors. Assist with renewals, including sending renewal letters and preparing renewals. Report any violations of rules and regulations observed. Observe precautions to protect residents, guests, and property; report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. Be familiar with fire alarm system operations and report incidents to management. Call police or fire departments in emergencies. Close out work orders daily, weekly, monthly and follow up with residents to ensure completion. Coordinate with office staff to maintain and update resident information in the database. Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase property traffic and internet leads; post and update social media advertisements for visibility. Assist with property and resident events; support special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications

High School Diploma with two years of leasing experience. Real Estate license as required by state regulations. English communication skills mandatory. Proficient with telephone, PC/keyboard, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), and community property management software. Ability to understand and explain lease documents. Ability to sell the property’s products and services to prospects. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Skills

Knowledge of Yardi and LRO or equivalent revenue management system (a plus). Experience using lease management software. Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team. Physical Demands
